I have had several requests for another stack class, so here your are. Make three each of two get well cards and one sympathy card. I have to say that all three of these cards are special. The sympathy card teaches the technique of embossing and highlighting with our White Gel Pen, the male Get Well card teaches sponging, and with the beautiful female Get Well card you will learn dry embossing with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine. And, the insides are just as special! Sorry, you will have to come to the class to see those.

I don't think I need to tell you this, but just in case, these cards can be for any occassion that you need. It is your choice as to which greeting stamps to use.
Here is the beautiful card we made at the May meeting of the Technique Club -- Paper Piecing with a little Paper Piercing thrown in for fun! The challenge at the class was to cut several layers of the rose and leaves. Once all the layers were cut and adhered to the card, we covered it with Crystal Effects and drizzled on some Dazzling Diamonds. We used the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper for the roses, the Raspberry Tart for the background, Old Olive Ribbon, and Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red Card Stock.
This is my attempt at showing the layers. If you look close you can see them. The next picture is the card made by our friend Robin. She did an awesome job of using the paper piecing technique both on the outside and inside of the card.
Believe it or not, this is the inside of the card. The smoke is little puffs of cotton. The "railroad tracks" are little tiny pieces of card stock. Very clever card. We are continually amazed at the talent everyone exhibits.
Well, Father's Day is right around the corner. Here is another sample of what you can do with the totally awesome "Totally Tools" stamp set. Wish I could say I created this one, but I received this card in a swap. I do not have the name of the creator, so we will call it the "Unknown". The card stock is Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel and Designer Series Paper. To make the tool pouch, cut the card stock to the size you want, then use the Medium Corner Rounder on all four corners. Use a Chocolate Chip Marker to draw in the stitching lines. Add a couple brads and some cholocate Chip ribbon and you are done.
I have some textured Specialty Designer Paper left over and decided to make these treats for the special dad's in our family. I used the Big Shot Matchbox Die, Textured Designer Paper and ribbon. That was it. They are quick to make. You can cut two at the same time along with the tags. The box folds together without adhesive. You put the top together with one piece if tape, stamp a greeting on the tag, add a ribbon and you are done. Easy, Peesy. (I have no clue how to spell that last one!)
I got the idea for this step card from my friend, Sandy Hancock, and made it for a grand-nephew who is graduating from High School with plans to attend Cal Berkeley in the fall. I used Cal colors, of course.
This is one 10 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of card stock, scored at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 1/2" and 6". The stand for the back is 4" x 5 1/2" with a 3/4" score at the top and is attached with Sticky Strip.
Cutting the pieces of card stock to decorate this and the stamping is fairly easy -- this is a fairly quick card to make. I suggest that you make more than one and save a sample. The stamp sets I used are Celebrate Everything and Great Grads. As alway, if you have any questions on how to make this project, please call.
Here is the second in a series of three samples of graduation cards. This one uses the Big Shot Top Note Die and Texture plate, some Designer Series Paper and a couple brads and you are done.
There is a pocket inside for the money. Very simple and very nice. Feel free to call me with any questions.
Since June is a busy month with Dads, Grads and Weddings, I have planed a series of posts with samples to help you get creative. You've seen the Dad's cards (posted for the class) so here is the first of three graduation cards.
This cards is so cute! It is made with several of our punches and is very appropriate for the younger grads on your list. Inside is a pocket for a gift card or cash.
