Today is the last day to participate in Stampin′ Up!’s Haitian relief efforts! Thru February 28, 2010, Stampin′ Up! is setting aside $2 from the sale of the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set to be donated to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. So far, demonstrators around the world have sold 11,895 sets, which equates to over $20,000 to be donated to this fund--but we don’t want to stop now! You still have today to participate in this effort and join other Stampin′ Up! customers and demonstrators in making a difference in lives of those who continue to suffer in Haiti.
This new stamp set is available in both wood mount (#117010) and clear mount (#118571). You can place your order directly on my Stampin' Up! website(once there, click on shop now). Please e-mail me if you have any questions!
Stampin' Up! is continuing to raise money to help the people in Haiti. We are all working hard to make a difference in the lives of those who continue to be affected by the January 12 earthquake in Haiti. In just the first fifteen days of the promotion, demonstrators around the world have already sold 7524 of the I {Heart} Hearts stamp sets. From each of these sets, Stampin′ Up! is donating $2 to the Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The promotions will still run through February 28, 2010. You can see the stamp set pictured below. This set comes in either clear mount or wood mount.
This offer lasts until February 28, 2010, so you still have time to lend a helping hand to those who are so much in need.
The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need. Please feel free to contact mewith any questions you may have.
Here we are with the last of the samples that we created by our Technique Club Members. This sample is by our friend Robin Y. She mentioned that it reflects her family. Dad, Mom and the kids. There was a lot of hand cutting on this one also.
Isn't that cute!!! Thanks to all the club members for such an awesome job and for sharing with all of us.
We are back with a "Stand Up Card" sample from our friend Robin Y. She is a second year club member and has so much fun!. She completed two versions of the January Technique - today we will look at one. Check back tomorrow for the second one.
I tried to get a shot that would show the amount of hand cutting, coloring and layering that Robin did on this one. The picture really does not do it justice. She used all non-Stampin'Up! products on this one and used a straight cut since she did not own the Square Scallop die Bet she will get that soon!
Come back tomorrow for the final sample done by our club members.
Today's Guest Artist is my friend, Ann R. (Technique Club Charter Member) She surprised us all with a Christmas Themed Stand Up Card. It made me think how beautiful it would be displayed on a coffee table during the holiday season. I am sure that was the intent of this style of card. They stand up perfectly -- no special tricks required.
Ann usedPretty in Pink, Real Red and Whisper White card stock, a retired Christmas themed Designer Series Paper out of which she cut the poinsettias. Yes, she hand cut them!!!. She also used the Big Shot Square Scallop and Lattice dies, and the Solumn Stillness stamp set (retired). Miscellaneous embellishments topped off this beautiful version of a "Stand Up Card.
Thanks for stopping by.
Check back again tomorrow for another beautiful sample.
We are back with our first Guest Artist from the 2010 Tecnnique Club. As you remember from yesterday's post, the Technique was a beautiful Stand Up Card. Our first Guest Artist is my friend Carol B (Charter Member). Take a look at her beautiful creation.
She used Chocolate Chip, Brocade Blue and Old Olive card stock, a retired Designer Series Paper, Simply Adorned stamp set, Big Shot Square Scallop and Lattice Dies, Jumbo Bird punch, glitter (of course) and other miscellaneous embellishments.
Hi Friends: Today I am showing you the project we made at the January meeting of my Technique Club. (We meet once a month on the third Monday.) I challenge each member to use what I have taught them and create a project using the base concept. The January technique was a "Stand Up Card". At first they were not sure what they would be able to do with it. But as you will see in the next few days they did an awesome job. I will post one guest artist a day for the rest of the week. So check back every day so you do not miss out.
We used the Dream Gardens stamp set, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock, Bella Blue Designer Series Paper, Big Shot Square Scallop and Lattice Dies.
We have a blast! Contact me soon to join in time for the March Club meeting (no later than Friday, March 5). Contact me at 310-891-0542.
Can't make the meetings, or you are not local -- contact me at the number above for information about my Cyber Technique Club.

Sale-a-Bration is half over and the excitement is still high. This years catalog has such a variety of products to earn as well as the chance to earn products from the regular catalog. I thought I would post a few samples for you to create with your new products. Enjoy!
