We are back with another monocromatic EASTER sample and we are again using the Eggcoutrements stamp set. I had so much fun with the Orchid one last week, I decided to try using the Certainly Celery Designer Paper from the Shades of Spring Designer Paper found in the Occasions Mini on page 25, Item No. 117160 at $9.95.
Step 1: Cut a piece of Certainly Celery at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", and score at 4 1/4". Fold in half and set aside. With a Certainly Celery Classic Stamp Pad stamp the "Easter" image on a scrap of Whisper White Card Stock and punch with the Designer Label Punch. Set these aside.
Step 2: Cut the Designer Paper at 4" x 5 1/4". Wrap a 6" piece of Certainly Celery 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon around the paper and adhere to the back with tape. Punch two circles out of a scrap of Certainly Celery card stock with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch.
Step 3: Tuck the two Certainly Celery circles under the ribbon allowing about 3/4" to show above and below the ribbon and adhere. Use a mat and paper piercing tool to punch two holes through the ribbon and designer paper - then insert two silver brads.
Step 4: The last step is to adhere a dimensional behind the "Easter" embellishment and center over the ribbon and Certainly Celery circles. YOU ARE DONE! I find that when the background paper is this beautiful, you really do not need to add very much to your card. I am having so much fun with this I will show you another one again next week. Check back for that!
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!
